The candidate must have knowledge of: computers and computer equipment, hardware components, processors, application and system software, and programming. A strong knowledge of electronics, electrical circuits, and the ability to read electrical schematics is required. Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and network theory to install, diagnose, and repair medical imaging equipment is essential. Knowledge and ability to use all necessary tools and measuring equipment to perform various tasks is also required. The candidate must be willing to work flexible hours or occasionally overtime to complete projects within specified deadlines, and be able to safely work with radiation sources and/or radioactive materials.
