Sparkling Victories
It’s so nice to hear, especially for coaches and parents, that our students, children from the Golden Fleece Karate Club won a huge number of prestigious awards at the International Karate Tournament in 2023: out of 13 participants, they received 12 gold medals, 6 silver and 1 bronze. This is an amazing result! Our children competed for our city, our country and our Brighton Beach!
In the recently concluded karate competition, our talented students gave a lively answer to the question of their skill. We are proud to announce that our fighters, children from Brooklyn who train in Brighton at the Jewish Center, not only took part in world-class competitions in which karatekas from different countries took part, but also dominated, winning many medals.
Our young karatekas demonstrated not only physical strength, but also a high level of technique and discipline. Their training efforts and dedication to the art of karate resulted in amazing results, leaving a lasting impression on spectators and competitors.
Congratulations to our renowned coaches, professional karatekas: holder of the 5th dan black belt in karate David Japaridze and holder of the 4th dan black belt in karate Kapiton Janashia, whose students from the Golden Fleece Karate club shone with awards at the Garden State Championship on February 18, 2024.
A children's coach is a person who introduces a child to the world of sports. He puts into it the knowledge and skills that he has accumulated over the years and polished through thousands of hours of hard training. It is he who largely determines the abilities and future professional path of the little man. A children's coach is the person who becomes another “important adult” for the child. Of course, such a mentor is remembered for a lifetime. After all, a coach teaches a child not only sports. He helps him learn not to despair, to draw the right conclusions, to analyze and think, not to give up, and to always move forward to new achievements and victories. He instills in the boy the qualities of a real man: courage, nobility, honesty, self-confidence. For a child, a coach is a person who is sincerely, wholeheartedly interested in his life.
The secret to the success of these students lies in diligent training under the guidance of experienced trainers who have invested a lot of time and energy into developing the skills of each participant. Every moment of training was aimed at improving technique, strategy and physical fitness.
The competition demonstrated not only professionalism, but also highlighted our students among those who not only participate, but also strive for excellence. Their triumph emphasized the importance of work aimed at achieving outstanding results.
Now our champions are ready to take on new heights as they continue their training and strive for new heights in the art of karate.
This success is not only for them, but also for our entire community, which is proud of their achievements.
