CNC machine operator/programmer
with experience in woodworking/manufacturing
You must have a high level of skill, hard work and resourcefulness. Are you the ideal candidate? We are ready to develop the skills of a person with experience in programming and working on CNC machines and a desire to learn!
Job responsibilities
• Working with CNC machines, programming, cutting, scaling, tooling, changing cutting files in the CAD program and similar methods
• Read and interpret drawings, engineering sketches and specifications to determine machining requirements.
• Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures and accessories for the machine
• Monitor machine operation to ensure quality and efficiency
• If necessary, make changes to machine settings to maintain product specifications
• Check finished products for accuracy and compliance with quality standards
• Maintenance and repair of the machine to ensure product quality.
Position requirements
• Experience in programming CNC machines 1-2 years
• 1-2 years of experience as an operator on CNC machines
This position requires a hard-working individual with strong technical skills in CNC programming. He must also have excellent math skills and be able to fabricate parts from a variety of materials. Experience with CAD software, milling machines and programming is required.
