Nasiba Vaslieva. Biography. Carpet weaving as the head of life.

Carpet weaving is closely related to everyday life. The carpet is widely used for home furniture and decoration, and special carpets are woven for healing, for wedding ceremonies, for the birth of a child, for healing and prayers.
Nasiba Vaslieva was born in Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan on November 22, 1988. Passion for carpet weaving has become a matter of life for this young and talented woman.
Nasiba Vaslieva has represented the country many times at international competitions and exhibitions, being both a participant and a judge. Received for
these are diplomas and letters of thanks from prominent figures in the history of art and folk crafts.
In 2010, Nasiba Vaslieva was awarded the Central Asia Handicrafts Quality Certificate from the Crafts Center for demonstrating excellence and exemplifying high quality in handicraft production.
Many scientists recognize Nasiba Vaslieva's exceptional knowledge in the field of carpet weaving and consider Nasiba Vaslieva the best specialist in this field.
J. Djumaev, PhD in Philosophy and Art History, an internationally recognized art historian, who was also a professor at the Department of Arts at the State University in Bukhara, wrote a letter about the positive experience of working with Nasiba Vaslieva, as well as her outstanding abilities in the field of carpet weaving. She also received letters from the regional administration of the Hunarmand Association of the Bukhara region and Dzamshid Khalilov, who is the curator of the world-famous Bukhara State Museum of Architecture and Art in Bukhara.
Nasiba Vaslieva published a book titled “Weaving Oriental Carpets in Uzbekistan”. Her book is dedicated to the history and traditions of the Bukhara school of traditional carpet weaving.
Nasiba Vaslieva publishes a lot in the field of carpet weaving. Her publications have appeared in leading journals in these fields. She has presented her work at national and international conferences. Works have been presented at the regional level on numerous occasions, including at Buboro's 2017 annual Craftsman Conference, Silk and Spices in 2016; "Celebration of the Margilan Atlas" in 2015 and "Echo of the Ages" in 2013. In addition, the works were presented at the International Craft Exhibition in 2014 in Moscow, Russia; and at the International Exhibition in Almaty in Kazakhstan in December 2015.
