Car valet

The valet ensures the safe and efficient parking of guest vehicles while providing service that exceeds our customers' expectations. The Clerk is responsible for promptly responding to customer requests and providing a caring interaction with all guests at their assigned location. The employee works closely with other team members, the Operations Manager and/or Shift Supervisor to ensure quality and safety standards are met at all times, as well as compliance with state and local laws. Key Responsibilities Mobilize and coordinate the entire valet process by obtaining keys, returning vehicles to waiting guests, loading guest vehicles and issuing tickets and/or using electronic devices to enter customer information. Promote customer success, happiness, and retention by building relationships with customers, responding to customer inquiries, and providing guidance on additions. Act as a prompt and courteous brand ambassador for the company by interacting with guests, opening and unloading guest vehicle doors. Deployment of vehicle safety procedures to direct traffic, barricade positions, park guest vehicles in appropriate areas, inspect vehicles for damage, and report incidents and complaints to assigned site management. Innovate financial transactions by requesting and collecting appropriate fees and reconciling income at the end of the shift. Meeting and greeting all guests upon arrival; open the doors of the guest car, if necessary help with unloading the car Receive the keys from the guest; issue a ticket to a guest or enter customer information using an electronic device Park the guest vehicle in a suitable location, ensure the safe and proper operation of guest vehicles. Inspect the vehicle for pre-existing damage, record damage information using an electronic device or manual ticket, and correctly record the make, model, and exact location of each vehicle. Quickly obtain vehicles for waiting guests; Assist guests with loading luggage or personal items as needed Provide superior guest service; Answer guest questions politely, provide directions to the nearest highway, destination, etc. Direct traffic, set up barricades, and arrange towing services as needed. Report any incidents or complaints to the Operations Manager or Shift Supervisor immediately. Request and charge appropriate fees for using the service. As needed, assist in reconciling end-of-shift income with ticket distribution. Always communicate professionally with guests, clients and teammates. Skills, Knowledge and Experience At least 18 years of age Valid driver's license Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle (stick shift) Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to verbally communicate with guests Acceptable driving record and vehicle record (MVR) Ability to learn quickly and make the right decisions to succeed in a fast-paced environment. Ability to operate guest vehicles requiring normal coordination, including eye-hand-foot coordination. Ability to move from valet to customer vehicles by walking or running for extended periods of time, sometimes for an entire shift. Previous valet experience is preferred
