A child care center in Staten Island, NY 10307 is seeking a caring, responsible, and proactive Assistant Teacher with experience working with children. Help us create a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment for children. Schedule: Monday - Friday. Full-time: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Part-time: 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Pay: $17.50 - $19.50 per hour, depending on experience. Duties: • Supervise children, participating in age-appropriate play, creative, and developmental activities. • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment. • Monitor children's behavior and provide positive assistance in learning proper behavior. • Assist with mealtimes, preparing snacks, and feeding as needed. • Change diapers, assist with potty training, and maintain personal hygiene. • Interact with children, co-workers, and parents. • Follow sanitation, safety, and emergency procedures. • Care for the emotional and physical well-being of children. • Prepare and clean up rooms, play areas, and activity materials.
