Looking for a separate large room from autumn for a year or longer, near the metro, without furniture, with use of the bathroom and kitchen. For one, I am a musician, teacher, composer. No children and no animals. Preferably with an elevator or on the first floor. I am a calm, balanced, responsible person. US citizen, living in Brooklyn since 2008. No partners. I can offer barter in exchange for a discount on rent: English lessons (I am a translator, writer, blogger in English), German or music, I can also help with animals, plants, go shopping or something like that. Married couple (no kids or pets, non-smokers, working) will rent a 1-bedroom or studio with a bedroom for a year or more (by agreement) near the metro. Can be in a private house (not Basemont). Neighborhoods are preferably Sheepshead Bay, Brighton, Coney Island.
