ASSEMBLY MECHANIC WANTED

Richards™ MANUFACTURING CO.• FULL- TIME MECHANICAL ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN Assembles parts, assemblies and safety circuits RESPONSIBILITIES: ▸ Ensure each component is properly secured, check connections, component position and alignment, use proper equipment ▸ Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, thread gauges and paint thickness gauges to assemble parts, ability to lift 50-100 lbs.
▸ Ability to read dimensions, measure finished components and assemble parts, interpret technical documentation such as diagrams and drawings
Possible (optional) requirements: ▸ Professional or technical education or experience in mechanical engineering ▸ 2-3 years of experience as a mechanic in production ▸ Company's Quality Management System training ▸ Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015
Other possible skills: ▸ Logical thinking and ability to creatively solve problems ▸ Detail-oriented, highly motivated, patient and persistent
▸ Ability to work well in a team and independently ▸ Knowledge of good manufacturing practices
