Exhibition of children's drawings for Mother's Day

Exhibition of children's drawings for Mother's Day
Every spring brings a special holiday - Mother's Day. It is not just a date on the calendar, but a bright and touching reason to think: how often do we tell our mothers about love, thank them for their boundless care and affection? Or at least just remember...
It is precisely for this day that for many years now I have been holding an exhibition of children's drawings - not as a formal organizer, but as a person who sincerely believes that art is capable of awakening the kindest and brightest feelings.
This exhibition is dedicated to the memory of my mother, Sofia Lagunova. People came to our house in Kharkov for advice and help. Everything I do today is an echo of her quiet but bright life example.
I call all the participants of these exhibitions "my children". Not for the sake of beautiful words, but because I have known them for years, I am happy with their professional growth, their victories and accomplishments. I am proud of them when they enter prestigious schools, participate in programs for gifted children, receive certificates and awards from politicians and public organizations.
I remember how we painted a group picture together, where each child left warm words about their mother, which became the culmination. I keep this large work at home, although I gave away my other paintings. These lines contain love, tenderness, gratitude. And even if today mom is near, and tomorrow - only in memories, it is important to have time to say: "You are the best for me." Then the drawing lesson turns into not just a creative activity, but a real act of love and memory.
This year the exhibition was especially heartfelt. Florist and designer Tatyana Laskava shared the good news: Senator Jessica Scarcella-Spanton presented her with an honorary award. Inspired by this event, Tatyana decided to surprise her mother Nella Dubitskaya on the occasion of her 84th birthday. Three decades ago, she moved from Odessa to the United States and crochets elegant tablecloths and napkins, but most importantly, she raised hard-working children. Recently, due to the war in Ukraine, her grandchildren and talented great-granddaughter Ksenia Lysenko came to visit her. She draws, plays the piano, continues her studies with Odessa teachers online and has already been accepted to study at Bay Academy.
Thanks to all the mothers who get up before everyone else every morning, make breakfast, take their children to school, clubs, lessons and sections. Thanks also to the fathers who love, support and help. Family love is the foundation on which everything is built.
And drawing... It not only develops imagination and fine motor skills. It heals, distracts from worries, seats the child at the table, gives a brush in his hands and inspires to create a world in which he wants to live.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supports my endeavors: my friend Ari Kagan, Aelita Club President Leonora Bulycheva, Aelita Club Board Member Tatyana Golyak, Anechka Shpilkovskaya, as well as the wonderful and responsive family of Odessans who now live in New York, the Laskavykhs — Tatyana, Petr, Oksana; Ksenia and Dmitry Lysenko; the Sotsky family — Elena, Maxim, Alla, and Arina, who made a huge contribution to organizing the exhibition. Special thanks to Senator Jessica Scarcella-Spanton and Justin Brannan, New York City Council for the certificates of honor to my talented children.
I would like to thank the information sponsors: the newspaper "R.Reklama", the media holding "R.Reklama" and the radio.
I believe that after reading this article, someone will think: "Why don't I call my mother?" Someone will buy a ticket, come, hug me, sit next to me at the table. And then I will understand: perhaps I live for a reason.
Thanks to Anna for the wonderful photographs.
Congratulations to 6 talented children who were awarded certificates.

Marina Lagunova

She saw everything without knowing anything

Lilia isn't just a clairvoyant. She's someone who sees the essence. She immediately sensed what was going on in my family, even though I barely told her anything. Conflicts, misunderstandings, resentments—everything surfaced in our conversation. With her, I went through an energy correction, cleansing, and, most importantly, I received support that no one else could give. Thanks to her, my husband and I were able to have a real conversation and not just "glue" our marriage together, but rebuild it on a new level. Thank you, Lilia. You saved my family. Lilya, you are strong.

I turned to Lilya as my last hope. She conducted a powerful practice, and within a week he started contacting me. And then—a meeting, a conversation, a hug... It all seemed like a snap. Mysticism? Perhaps. The main thing is, he's back. Lilya, you are powerful. I'm writing her number (380638055486, Viber, WhatsApp). +19297133433

"I'm 54. I'm not young, but I'm not old yet either. I'm just… forgotten. Once, people used to call me by my name. Now it's just "buddy," "bum," "here again." Back then, I carried a briefcase; now I wear a torn jacket. There were meetings in offices — now I only meet the cold. I taught my son how to ride a bicycle. Now I'm learning to stand on my own feet again after another night under the bridge. Yes, I made mistakes. But doesn't everyone want a third? Sometimes I feel like a tree felled, bark cracked... And for a moment, I will be a person again. If only for a moment. Thank you for that moment." PAY PAL [email protected]
