Psychoanalytic therapy is based on the analysis of the patient's free associations. Katathymic experience of images (KPE) is a method of deep-psychologically oriented psychotherapy, also known as the method of "daydreaming". During therapy, the patient talks about what worries him, using free associations (thoughts, images, objects, etc.). In this case, the psychotherapist helps to realize the hidden meanings or patterns of these associations, this can serve as the basis for finding psychological problems, for their subsequent solutions.
