She didn't judge, didn't pressure, but seemed to look straight into my soul and saw not only my guilt, but also my pain, the regret that I couldn't express to anyone. She said that all was not lost, that my wife's heart was not completely closed. She performed a ritual, gave instructions on what not to do and, conversely, how to proceed. I did everything she said, even though at times it seemed pointless. And then something happened that I'm still afraid to believe. My wife got in touch herself. Then... the first conversation, the first look without hatred, the first tears. And then she came back. With the children. Returned to the house that was once ours, but for me had become an emptiness. Today I understand it was a true miracle. And if anyone says Martha doesn't help... let them first experience what I experienced. She didn't just give me back my wife. She gave me back my family, my meaning in life!
