I am ready to fight for you and your family.
My name is George Sarantopoulos, I am a Republican and I am running for City Council from
Brooklyn's 47th District. I am a father, husband, and entrepreneur who built my business from the ground up. I have also been through a tough battle with cancer and won. This victory has strengthened my resolve and deepened my commitment to my family, community, and our city.
Today, Brooklyn is in crisis. Crime is rising, the streets are dirty, and out-of-touch politicians continue to raise taxes instead of offering real solutions. The radical progressives who run the city want us to sympathize with criminals, not with those who protect us: our police officers. I am not prepared to accept this.
Our city needs leaders who prioritize safety, accountability, and accessibility. We don’t need promises, we need results. I am not a career politician or a puppet of the party machine. I am accountable only to you, the people. While incompetent politicians failed us, I created businesses and jobs across the country. I know what can be accomplished with honest and strong leadership.
