GROCERY SALES REPRESENTATIVE WANTED – BASE + COMMISSION
A growing wholesale bakery is looking for an aggressive Outside Sales Representative to expand supermarket distribution and develop new grocery store relationships across the New York area.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who knows the grocery industry and already has relationships with supermarket buyers or store owners.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and grow existing supermarket accounts
• Develop new grocery store relationships and open new accounts
• Visit Accounts -supermarkets per day within assigned territory
• Introduce new products and secure shelf placement
• Build strong relationships with store owners, managers, and buyers
• Generate orders and increase product distribution
• Monitor product merchandising and performance in stores
• Track store visits and sales activity in CRM
Requirements:
• 2+ years grocery or food distribution sales experience
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently in the field
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
Preferred:
• Existing relationships with supermarket buyers
• Experience working with independent grocery stores or supermarket chains
Compensation: Base Salary + Commission + Bonuses
