Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Civil Designer with strong US experience in site development and multi-state permitting. This role requires a high level of independence, technical precision, and the ability to manage complex design packages with minimal supervision. You will be responsible for producing and coordinating civil design documentation across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring full compliance with US codes, standards, and permitting requirements. Key Responsibilities Lead preparation of detailed civil design drawings and full construction document packages Develop site layouts, grading plans, drainage systems, utilities, and stormwater management designs Produce and oversee drawings in AutoCAD Civil 3D with high accuracy and consistency Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams (civil, structural, architectural, PMs) Manage multi-state permitting documentation and jurisdictional requirements Perform QA/QC of design packages to ensure compliance with US codes and standards Identify design inconsistencies, , and potential delays proactively Support engineering teams with advanced technical drafting and revisions Maintain structured documentation and version control across projects Qualifications Education: Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Required) Licensure: PE risks License (multi-state preferred / required) Experience: 5+ years of US-based civil/site design experience (required) Proven experience working on industrial or large-scale commercial projects Strong experience with multi-state permitting and regulatory environments Demonstrated ability to handle projects independently with minimal oversight Skills and Abilities Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (required) Strong knowledge of US site design standards, codes, and permitting processes High level of drafting precision and technical detailing Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Native or near-native English proficiency required Work Schedule Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Full-time, on-site only Work Location New York, NY (Wall Street location – 17 State Street) In-person Compensation & Benefits $120,000 – $150,000 per year Performance-based bonus 401(k) Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off
