This position requires a combination of technical skills, physical stamina, and the ability to communicate effectively with others. Below are the key skills and qualities we are looking for in a candidate for this position: Technical Competence: Ability to perform minor and medium-term repairs, maintain building systems (electricity, plumbing, heating, ventilation) in working order. Basic knowledge of utility systems. Responsibility and Dependability: Ability to respond promptly to any technical problems or emergencies, and meet deadlines. Physical Stamina: Work may involve physically demanding tasks such as moving equipment, cleaning, or repairing hard-to-reach areas. Basic English: Ability to communicate on a basic level with residents, contractors, and co-workers to resolve work issues. Organization: Ability to plan the workday, keep track of completed work, and manage time effectively. Housekeeping and Grounds Maintenance: Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of common areas of the home, including hallways, stairways, and other common areas. Also includes trash and compost removal as scheduled and per building regulations.
