Looking for a caregiver/companion/HHA
Looking for a caregiver/companion for my mother, 71 years old , who has memory problems.
She speaks Russian and English and understands Ukrainian. She lives in Midtown Manhattan.
The work schedule is 24/7 , in shifts with another assistant: 4 days on / 3 days off , then 3 days on / 4 days off , to share the work week with another caregiver.
Working days with accommodation: from Tuesday from 10:00 am to Friday until 15:00 .
Responsibilities include:
- light cleaning (dusting, vacuuming),
- buying groceries,
- preparing breakfasts and soups,
- washing,
— accompanying patients to doctor appointments and managing the schedule of visits.
The patient must not be left alone . Knowledge of English is desirable. A separate bedroom and bathroom are provided . The apartment is located in the city center.
Must be confident behind the wheel and prepared to transport patients to Brooklyn, Northern New Jersey, Queens , and Long Island as needed.
Pay is $150-200 per day by agreement.
