A child care center in Staten Island, NY 10307 is seeking a caring, responsible, and proactive Assistant Teacher with experience working with children. Help us create a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment for children. Schedule: Monday - Friday. Full-time: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Part-time: 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Pay: $17.50 - $19.50 per hour, depending on experience. Early childhood education courses are a plus. • Experience working with children in a childcare, daycare, or preschool setting is REQUIRED. • Patience, kindness, and a desire to work with young children. • Ability to work in a team and good communication skills. • Basic understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities. • Ability to lift and carry young children as needed. • CPR and First Aid certifications or willingness to obtain them.
