Print Shop Assistant

Overview: We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Print Shop Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting our print production operations while also contributing to digital and marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical printing expertise and proficiency in graphic design software, website building, and digital marketing. Responsibilities: Operate and maintain printing machines and equipment. Prepare and process printing materials such as paper stock, ink, and plates. Monitor print jobs to ensure accuracy, quality control, and adherence to deadlines. Perform finishing tasks including cutting, binding, and laminating. Maintain inventory of printing supplies and materials. Clean and maintain printing equipment for optimal performance. Utilize graphic design software (eg, Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW) to create and edit print designs. Assist in building and maintaining the company's website using platforms like WordPress or Wix. Support digital marketing efforts including social media marketing campaigns and email newsletters. Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and project deadlines. Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and procedures. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in printing or related field preferred. Proven experience as a Print Shop Assistant or similar role. Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop and CorelDRAW. Experience with website building platforms (eg, WordPress, Wix) and basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus. Knowledge of digital marketing principles, including social media marketing and email campaigns. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
