Psychotherapy
I am a practicing psychologist-sexologist, working in the psychoanalytic and symboldramatic approaches. How does psychotherapy work? Psychotherapy (from the Greek psyche - soul, therapy - treatment) is a therapeutic process by means of influencing the human psyche in order to improve his mental and physical condition. The principle of my work is based on the method of psychoanalysis and katathymic-imaginative psychotherapy (symboldrama or katathymic experience of images). Psychoanalytic therapy is based on the analysis of the patient's free associations. Katathymic experience of images (KPE) is a method of deep-psychologically oriented psychotherapy, also known as the method of "daydreaming". During therapy, the patient talks about what worries him, using free associations (thoughts, images, objects, etc.). In this case, the psychotherapist helps to realize the hidden meanings or patterns of these associations, this can serve as the basis for finding psychological problems, for their subsequent solutions.
