NYCHA SECTION 8 WAITING LIST RENEWED

The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) will reopen the waitlist for the Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers program.
from XXXXXX, XXXX X, 2024, at XX:XX AM to XXXXXX, XXXX X, 2024, at XX:XX PM.

To apply, go to the website (link) or scan the QR code using your smartphone camera.

NYCHA will accept online applications for the Housing Voucher Program (also known as Section 8) at (link) from XXXXXX, XXXX X, 2024, at XX:XX AM through XXXXX, XXXX X, 2024, at XX:XX PM . Please do not submit more than one application (duplicate applications will be rejected).

All waitlist applications will be accepted until the close of the NYCHA application period XXXX XXXXXXX XXXX XXX,XXX. This means that all applicants have an equal opportunity to be placed on the waiting list, regardless of when their application was received.

Waitlisting and Status Notification

The waiting list is expected to be completed by XXXXXXX X, 2024. Once the waitlist is complete, applicants will be notified and can check the status of their application through NYCHA's self-service portal (selfserve.nycha.info).

Submitting a paper application - upon request only

The online application can be accessed from a computer, smartphone or tablet with internet access. If you don't have internet access, you can visit your local library. Paper applications will only be provided as a necessary alternative. You can request the required paper form from XXXXXX, XXXX X 2024 to XXXXXX, XXXX X 2024 (8:00 am to 5:00 pm) by calling (XXX) XXX-XXXX to have the application mailed to you, or by visiting one of the locations below to receive your application in person:
