The September 11 Family Group, a charitable organization that unites the families of the victims of the September 11 tragedy, annually organizes a Remembrance Ceremony at the September 11 Memorial Plaza in Brooklyn's Asser Levy Park. This year's Remembrance Ceremony will be dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the September 11 tragedy. The memorial in Asser Levy Park will be open to visitors starting at 12:00 PM. A large screen will be installed in the Memorial Plaza, displaying the names of all 2,983 victims of the September 11th tragedy. The official ceremony will begin at 1:00 PM. It will include the Trooping of the Colors, the National Anthem, the Lighting of Candles, a Moment of Silence, a Wreath-Laying Ceremony, classical music interludes, and speeches by religious leaders, members of the September 11th Group families, and the Memorial's main sponsors. Hundreds of event participants are expected to attend. Press parking will be provided. Please contact the Ceremony organizers for a special parking permit.
