Recently, a gala event was held organized by the Aelita Club, at which journalist Mikhail Terentyev, host of the popular program “New York Duty” on RTVI US, was presented with a certificate of honor from the mayor of New York, Eric Adams, by the president of the Aelita Club, Leonora Bulycheva.
 
The director of the RTVI US news service, Georgiy Tsikkhiseli, was awarded by the authoritative American newspaper R.Reklama. His brilliant journalistic work is well remembered by radio listeners and viewers - especially his unforgettable stories during the pandemic and others.
Also, talented musicians Mikhail Bulychev-Oxer, Miriam Davis, Akhtam Faziev and Misheg Avetisyan were awarded certificates of honor from politicians, after which a concert with their participation took place. Present was the famous lawyer Eva Rakhamimova, who has helped many talented people get legalized in the United States. Many charitable events in New York took place thanks to her invaluable help.
So, let's return to the Russian-language American television channel RTVI US, which has its loyal fans. At this difficult time for the United States and New York on the eve of the presidential election, and at a difficult time for the whole world, when there is a war between Russia and Ukraine, RTVI US adheres to the highest standards of journalism, honestly covering the events taking place. The editors comprehensively talk about politics in our country, representing all positions, both Democrats and Republicans. Today in New York we need truthful information on the basis of which people can draw correct conclusions about the situation in the country and the world. Otherwise it would not be real journalism. At the beginning of summer, the channel presented a new concept, “Ecosystem 360,” the key task of which is to unite the TV channel and all local digital platforms — YouTube channels, social networks, the newly launched information portal rtvi.us and the Telegram channel — into a single information space. The editors are preparing new projects for the start of the television season in September.
Of course, the strength of RTVI US is its talented team! The channel employs professional journalists and a technical team of the highest level. This is the presenter and actress Lisa Kaymin, whose programs are unforgettable, especially “American Stories”; Natalya Romanova is a famous actress, singer and host of the program “New York Duty”; Diana Lesnichaya is a presenter and famous photographer. Talented cameramen, attentive editors, the advertising department team and, of course, other irreplaceable employees of the RTVI TV channel deserve kind words.
