The lively audience interest itself eventually forced traditional media to pay attention to the artist. Over the 13 years of his existence, Vasya Oblomov received a large number of various awards, performed on all possible Russian and other TV channels, major festivals, wrote music and songs for the most popular Russian films, released 6 full-length albums, each of which took first place in listening on digital platforms , wrote many satirical songs on informational issues, took part in the scandalous project Citizen Poet, and Vasily Oblomov’s videos collect tens of millions of views. Oblomov is one of the few Russian musicians who have performed since 2012 at major protest rallies in Moscow and openly criticized the Russian authorities, which ultimately earned them their long-standing dislike.
