To honor the memory of loved ones, the September 11 Family Group annually organizes a Remembrance Ceremony in Brooklyn's Asser Levy Park. For many years, I have spent this day with my friends, members of the organization "Families of 9-11". Over the years, we have known each other by sight and shared common memories. I have known the Savinkin family for many years, I understand how strong, wise and kind Valya is, who survived an irreparable loss, having lost her son Vladik and husband Valery. My daughter and I were among the first visitors to the 9-11 museum, and our tour guide was Valery Savinkin, may he rest in peace. He was an extraordinary man, and a street on the corner of Coney Island and Brighton Beach in Brooklyn is named after him. Today, Family 9-11 is headed by Roman Hertzberg, the father of Marina, whose beauty is still admired by everyone today.
