Often many of us, having worked in America for many years, simply do not know our rights and opportunities when we retire. Why? Often our compatriots are simply paralyzed by the fear of an incomprehensible and uncertain time, which inexorably looms ahead like scarlet sails, carrying on the one hand the hope of a comfortable old age, and on the other - anxiety about the much-needed American medicine,... for which for many years people worked tirelessly for decades. And then the “experienced” shrug their shoulders, wondering: “Why didn’t you, with your bouquet of illnesses, go on SSI? You worked tirelessly for years, got up at 4 o’clock for work, paid and paid extra for all medical services, and now You can’t get a home care assistant, and your way to a kindergarten for people of the “golden age” is closed.” And so, without thinking about countless issues, people waste precious time that cannot be returned. But it’s so easy to avoid financial and other problems if you think about the future in advance and take care of proper planning on time. Few of our compatriots know what the word trust means. There are several types of them; this is an important and necessary document that allows retired people to have medical benefits. It is also important to know what documents can and should be signed in time in order to appoint guardians to make sometimes difficult decisions related to health, for example, about turning off hospital machines that support the body’s life support processes. When our family or friends are admitted to the hospital, they cannot always express their thoughts and wishes due to lack of knowledge of the language or illness. And as time passes, everything remains without any changes, and suddenly we understand that our relatives did not do something at one time, did not take care of something, did not give us certain rights to communicate with doctors and make everyday decisions for and for them. And now we are simply powerless to help the people dearest to us. A will does not come into force while the person is alive.
