Selling (my) Selmer (Paris) Balanced Action alto saxophone, made in 1938, in excellent condition, serviced and refinished 2 years ago, everything works, nothing needs to be done. Amazing singing and powerful sound, very good tuning. I live in Brooklyn, come try it. Price $4500. Balanced Action alto saxophone, silver-plated, plating is in good condition, especially on the bell and bow and the neck. There are no major repairs, no dents or bends, no heavy soldering, neck has not been damaged. The D-key key riser is optional. The horn has been overhauled about a year ago, the pads are still in good condition - I am primarily a tenor player, was using alto for teaching and some private sessions.It is a gorgeous instrument with a singing, silvery sound, can be quite powerful.
