Teacher of programming, olympiad computer science and mathematics
Teacher of programming, competitive computer science and mathematics I teach children and teenagers programming in Scratch and Python, competitive programming and school mathematics. My work is based not on a set of individual lessons, but on a consistent teaching system. For each area, a program has been developed that helps the student, step by step, move from basic skills to solving complex problems and independent work on projects. My main goal is not just to teach a child a programming language or individual topics in mathematics, but to develop the thinking necessary for successfully solving new and non-standard problems. In my classes, students learn to: • analyze problem conditions; • find patterns; • build solution algorithms; • break complex problems into understandable steps; • independently search for and verify solutions. Training areas • Scratch for kids and beginners • Python for beginners and advanced levels • Olympiad programming • Algorithms and data structures • School mathematics • Development of logical and algorithmic thinking The Scratch training approach is used as the first stage for mastering logic, algorithms and basic principles of programming. Python allows you to move on to creating full-fledged programs, studying algorithms and preparing for Olympiad problems. Training is built along the trajectory: Scratch → Python → algorithms and data structures → Olympiad programming Each subsequent stage is based on already formed skills, thanks to which the student confidently moves forward and understands why he is studying each topic. Learning outcomes After classes, the student receives not only knowledge of programming or mathematics, but also universal problem-solving skills: • developed algorithmic thinking; • strong logic; • independence in solving new problems; • ability to work with complex problems; • a solid foundation for further education in the field of IT. My goal is to help children stop guessing and learn to think like a programmer: analyze, plan, and find effective solutions.
