We are a small but well established medical device company looking to hire a full time service engineer to work in and out of the company offices. You must work as a member of a small team to provide efficient and great service on systems in inventory, as well as to all customers. This position involves a good customer relationship management protocol through the effective use of technical knowledge to install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain equipment at customer sites. Generate service revenue and of course adhere to state and federal regulatory requirements and OEM specifications. The right candidate must have a valid driver's license, own a vehicle and be punctual. The position requires knowledge of computers, computer hardware, processors, applications and programming, as well as software. You must have at least an Associates degree or equivalent from a trade school for electronics. Thus having a strong knowledge of electronics, circuitry and how to read schematics is a must. The ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair medical imaging equipment. Including the knowledge and use of all necessary tools and test equipment is also required to complete various assignments. You must be able to work flexible hours or overtime on very rare occasions to complete systems under deadlines. And be able to safely work with radiation sources and/or radioactive materials.
