Experience in calculating MEP sections is especially welcome: HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Fire Protection. Key responsibilities: Studying drawings, specifications, and bid documents; Calculating the volume of work for architectural, general construction, and MEP sections; Preparing detailed take-offs and cost estimates; Requesting and analyzing proposals from subcontractors and suppliers; Comparing received proposals with design documentation; Creating bid packages and internal pricing worksheets; Interacting with Project Managers and company management on scope, assumptions, and pricing; Identifying missed items, inconsistencies, and potential risks in documentation. Requirements: Experience as an estimator in construction; Ability to confidently read architectural, structural, and MEP drawings; Experience preparing take-offs and estimates; Understanding of construction processes and work sequences; Attention to detail, a systematic approach, and the ability to work with large volumes of information; Proficiency in Excel; Experience with On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, or similar programs is an advantage; Experience estimating MEP sections is a significant plus. Experience working with projects in New York City is an advantage; Understanding of subcontractor buyout and bid leveling; Knowledge of CSI divisions; Experience estimating residential, commercial, and high-end renovation projects. This position requires building and maintaining strong customer relationships by effectively applying technical knowledge to the installation, diagnostics, repair, service, and technical support of equipment at customer sites. Responsibilities also include generating service revenue and ensuring strict compliance with all state and federal regulatory requirements, as well as OEM specifications. Candidate Requirements: A valid driver's license, own vehicle, and punctuality and responsibility. The candidate must have knowledge of: computers and computer equipment, hardware components, processors, application and system software, and programming. A minimum of an Associate's degree or equivalent from a technical college or vocational school in electronics is required. A strong knowledge of electronics, electrical circuits, and the ability to read electrical schematics is required. Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and network theory to install, diagnose, and repair medical imaging equipment is essential. Knowledge and ability to use all necessary tools and measuring equipment to perform various tasks is also required. The candidate must be willing to work flexible hours or occasionally overtime to complete projects within specified deadlines, and be able to safely work with radiation sources and/or radioactive materials.
