Doors & Windows Shop Assistant

Long Island Doors & Windows. We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated door and window salesperson to join our team at Long Island Doors & Windows. As a sales associate, you will play an important role in supporting our manufacturing operations and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities: Operate machinery and equipment associated with door and window manufacturing to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Assist in the preparation and processing of customer orders, from production to assembly and finishing. Maintain strict quality control standards throughout the entire manufacturing process to deliver flawless products. Work closely with designers and clients to ensure products meet specifications and deadlines. Respond to customer inquiries, provide accurate quotes, and facilitate order acceptance in a professional manner. Perform routine equipment maintenance and promptly resolve any technical issues to minimize downtime. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to optimize workflow and safety. Qualifications: Experience in a door and window shop or similar manufacturing environment is preferred. Proficiency in operating appropriate hardware and software for manufacturing and assembly. Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow instructions to meet quality standards. Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing excellent customer service. Ability to multi-task effectively and thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Basic knowledge of door and window materials, trim and construction principles is an advantage.
