Hello, my name is Alexander and I am a guitar teacher! I have been doing this for over 12 years and have a lot of experience! Why does a child's Russian in the US start to simplify by 8-10 years of age—and what to do about it? Many parents notice a worrying development: Their child speaks English fluently and excels at school, but their Russian gradually becomes "short." Phrases become simpler.
