Experienced Jeweler Repair - Bench Jeweler

A jewelry workshop in Manhattan's Diamond District is seeking an experienced repair technician capable of handling most standard repairs. We're looking for someone who can handle a piece, understand the repair process, assess potential risks, and perform the repair with care, quality, and professionalism. Location: Manhattan, 47th Street Schedule: Full-time Pay: $800–$1000 per week, depending on experience and skills Duties: — Ring resizing and shank repairs — Soldering and assembly repairs — Repair chains, clasps, bails, links, jump rings, and earring posts — Repair gold, silver, and platinum jewelry — Understanding the risks of working with stones and performing basic setting checks — Preparing repaired items for finishing, polishing, or plating — Handling client items with care and responsibility — Ability to communicate in advance if a job has risks, limitations, or requires a different approach A suitable candidate will have: — Actual experience as a jeweler repair technician — Strong soldering skills — Ability to independently identify and complete most standard repairs — A good understanding of the responsibilities involved in working with client items — Accuracy, attention to detail, and consistent quality of work — Experience with laser welding, setting, polishing, or rhodium plating is a plus To apply, call: +1 (929) 554-3933
