We invite you to our performance “ALEXEY ALEXANDROVICH” based on Leo Tolstoy’s novel “Anna Karenina”, which will be performed in Russian with English subtitles on the stage of The Marjorie S. Deane Little Theater in Manhattan from June 20 to June 30. A classic literary masterpiece returns to the stage, revealing the story of Karenin in an inventive interpretation by director Sandler Gehr and playwright Roman Freud in ALEXEY ALEXANDROVICH. In the personal life of Alexei Alexandrovich Karenin, an unexpected cataclysm occurs in his personal life, destroying the usual order of things and the scale of values. The hero is forced to reconsider his views and look inside his soul for the first time, to be reborn and become different - sincere, real, sensitive. But can such a person exist in the brilliant society of St. Petersburg, without being torn between the sincerity of his feelings and the pressure of public opinion? “ELVEN MAIL” opens the door to a fairy tale for your children!
In the week before Christmas, every evening from 5.30 to 6.15 pm in our theater - a real Elf, the messenger of Santa Claus, accepts letters from your children to him and sends them directly to the addressee. Your child, together with the Elf, will pack their letter in a special envelope, stick a magic stamp and put it in a magic mailbox. And the Elf will deliver letters to Santa Claus himself.
