Job opening: Shampoo Girl Hairdresser Assistant

Location: Brooklyn, NY (Brighton Beach area) Employment type: Part-time (about 4 days a week) Description: A beauty salon is looking for a hairdresser's assistant (shampoo girl/helper). Experience is not required - we will train everything on site. The job is suitable for neat, responsible and polite people who like cleanliness and order. Schedule: • Approximately 4 days a week - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday • From 10:00 to 18:00 - 19:00 Payment: from $100 to $200 per day (depending on skills and additional responsibilities). Responsibilities: • Washing clients' hair • Drying hair • Preparing the workplace before service • Cleaning the workplace after service • Assisting the hairdresser with basic tasks Requirements: • Responsibility, accuracy, cleanliness • It is desirable that the candidate have a basic knowledge of English in order to schedule appointments with English-speaking clients. We work with a fully Russian-speaking team, but occasionally (a couple of times a week) we may need to take calls from English-speaking clients and schedule an appointment.
