Project: Gastronomic theater with VR in a restaurant, New York (February - April). Tasks: - Set up and support the VR system (Meta Quest 3) with our application and Leap Motion. - Ensuring synchronous operation of all 9 headsets via a Windows laptop according to our instructions. - Coordination with the 3D designer, checking and playing VR content. - Presence on site (Sun-Mon, 17:00 - 21:00). Video Engineer (Broadcast Maintenance Engineer) to support the daily operation of the television complex

Overseas Media Inc. is seeking a Broadcast Equipment Maintenance Engineer to support the daily operations of our television complex. This role focuses on preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting in a 24/7 broadcast environment. The engineer will work with a wide range of systems, including on-air control, studio and production equipment, cameras, basic production and ENG equipment, post-production workflows, and media storage systems. Responsibilities also include participation in system upgrades, small implementations, and the integration of new equipment—both in the studio and at remote sites. We are seeking a candidate with at least two years of broadcast engineering experience and a basic understanding of IT systems and network technologies. A technical background is a plus. The ideal candidate is practical, reliable, and able to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical specialists. Key Skills and Qualifications: - Proven experience in a television/broadcast environment (required) - Understanding of video formats (HD/SD, 1080i/p, interlaced vs. progressive) - Experience with video streaming protocols (SRT/UDP) - Basic understanding of MPEG-TS - Understanding of video codecs (H.264/HEVC) - Experience with playout or master control systems - Basic knowledge of networking - Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues in a live environment - Working knowledge of Linux and/or Windows Server - Russian language required - English language proficiency sufficient to read and understand technical documentation Employment Type: W-2, Full-time Location: Manhattan, NY To apply: Send resume to [email protected]
