located in Kingston, Pennsylvania
(Kingston, PA - about 2 hours from New York City),
Experienced furniture assembler/carpenter needed
with leadership qualities to work in our team!
In addition to your main activities, you will assist the Chief Foreman and supervise the activities of the production team, as well as the Delivery and Receiving Department.
Assistance is needed to perform the following duties:
• Coordination of daily activities of production and operational teams and resolution of any problems
• Ensure timely delivery of all purchases, good communication with purchasing department and delivery and returns staff
• Coordination of shipping schedule: excellent communication between the production team, project managers and drivers
• Checking all materials and finished projects before packing and shipping
Qualification:
• Experience in woodworking/carpentry production for at least 5 years
• Excellent knowledge of drawings, woodworking tools and equipment
• Strong leadership skills, ability to work quickly and to deadlines
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Must be a team player – able to work in a team
• Must be a mature, solid and reliable person
• Long-term focus
