Einstein, who fled to America from the Nazis and the impending war, is acutely aware of everything that is happening. Margarita informs him that in a week, after many years of living in America, she and her husband are leaving back to the Soviet Union. Einstein will try to persuade her to stay, but in vain - separation is inevitable. A new play by Soviet and Russian playwright Alexander Gelman, based on recently discovered letters from Einstein to Margarita Konenkova, takes place in Einstein's home in Princeton.
