Accountant/Accounting Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage daily accounting records including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger entries.
  • Reconcile bank statements and track expenses to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Preparation and verification of financial statements and balance sheets.
  • Participation in the closing of the month and year.
  • Collaborate with the team to manage budgets and track project costs.
  • Support audits and provide accurate financial data upon request.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping.
  • High level of proficiency in QuickBooks.
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization.
  • Experience in the construction industry is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
