TO ALL INTERESTED AGENCIES, ORGANIZATIONS, GROUPS AND INDIVIDUALS:
On Monday, December 16, 2024, New York City will release a substantive amendment to its Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) Action Plan for Hurricane Ida. To access the plan beginning December 16, 2024, go to:https://www.nyc.gov/site/cdbgdr/hurricane-ida/ida-action-plan.page. The summary will be available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, Bengali, Haitian, Korean, Arabic, Urdu, French and Polish. The online materials will also be accessible for people with low vision. Hard copies of the Action Plan, including large print (18pt font size), will be available upon request. The amendment is subject to a 30-day public comment period beginning December 17, 2024. Comments must be received no later than Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. (EST). Written comments may be sent to[email protected] or to the Mayor's Office of Management and Budget: Julie Freeman, Director, Community Development, 255 Greenwich Street, 8th Floor, New York, New York 10007. Following the comment period, all comments will be reviewed and the City's responses will be incorporated into the Action Plan. A final Hurricane Ida Recovery Action Plan, containing a summary of comments and the City's responses, will be submitted to HUD and posted on the City's CDBG-DR website.
