Ranevskaya’s apartment near the Patriarch’s Ponds: People’s Artist of the USSR Faina Ranevskaya spends her days free from performances on her couch, rereading a volume of poems by her beloved Pushkin and receiving guests in a cozy living room. In the cycle of meetings with house guests and close friends, a meeting with a stranger, Annushka, unexpectedly turns upside down the actress’s usual and calm everyday life. The following events for Ranevskaya are developing rapidly, replacing each other, and this is where the fun begins!
