Back to life
After more than a year, serious problems and changes, many of us strive to go forward and start enjoying the simple pleasures of life again.
While new variants and coronavirus outbreaks still pose a serious threat, if everyone is vaccinated, as soon as they are eligible and able to do so, and if everyone adheres to the recommendations of doctors and infectious disease specialists for a little longer, we will certainly we can expect this summer to be brighter than the previous one. At the same time, we must admit that the world is no longer the same.
We must return to fulfilling lives better and stronger.
Throughout this pandemic, people of all ages and backgrounds have recognized their individual responsibility in efforts to stop the spread of a new, invisible, life-threatening virus. If we can maintain this mindset even after the pandemic, together we can continue to make progress against the other threats that plague our country, including racism, gun violence, climate change and more.
And, of course, I am glad that you can get vaccinations, tests for COVID, and, even in Brighton, there were minibuses in which you could get vaccinated and, keeping up with the times, get an answer about the test result on the phone. Yes, it helps to make our city better for life and raising children. According to Governor Andrew Cuomo's office: “The vaccine is the weapon that will defeat COVID. But only if we do all of this, and from April 6, all New Yorkers aged 16 and over will be able to get vaccinated. millions of our neighbors are still in need of vaccinations and we are working hard to reduce infection rates. It is imperative that we remain vigilant and continue to adhere to safety protocols. Wear a mask, keep your distance, stay vigilant and get vaccinated. " This will protect ourselves and those we love. "
